Hello! I am an artist, a sewer, a maker, a teacher, a wife and a mum. I have had the privilege to teach art for over 15 years and I hope to continue to do this until I am old and grey. As an artist I find most of my inspiration in nature, architecture and everyday objects (especially vintage ones!). I love the process and act of making things. From an early age I was inspired to create by my mum, who was also an artist, seamstress and maker. It wasn’t until recently that I discovered my love of sewing. Most days I can be found in my studio sewing or painting up a storm. I live by my motto to create every day, even if that is just a simple sewn project, a small sketch, a painting, or a new recipe I want to try.
